Terms of Service: Stronghold MC Store

These terms apply when you buy anything from the Stronghold MC store at store.stronghold-mc.com (the "Store") for use on the Stronghold MC Minecraft server at join.stronghold-mc.com (the "Server"). By completing a purchase you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't buy anything.

The Store and Server are run by Stronghold-MC ("we", "us"), business.stronghold-mc.com contact . See the Legal Notice for full details.

1. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft

Stronghold MC is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Everything we sell follows Mojang's Minecraft Usage Guidelines.

2. Who can buy

  • You need a genuine Minecraft: Java Edition or Bedrock Edition account. Purchases are tied to the Minecraft username you enter at checkout, so check it carefully: we can't move a purchase made for the wrong name.
  • If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian, and they should read these terms with you. If we learn that a purchase was made without that permission, contact us and we will work with you on it.
  • You must be allowed to use the payment method you choose.

3. What you are buying

The Store sells digital, virtual items for use on the Server only:

  • Supporter ranks: A rank badge and the perks listed on each package. Ranks are network-wide and one-time purchases. Upgrading costs only the difference from what you have already paid in that category.
  • Vote boosters: Each booster gives the Survival server 30 minutes of a higher vote-key chance for everyone, used when you choose. They don't expire while the Server is running.
  • Battle Pass (premium): the premium track for one named season only (for example Season 1: Forged in Iron). It lasts for that season. Rewards you have claimed stay yours afterwards, but the pass and any rewards you haven't claimed end with the season, and a season's rewards are not offered again.

Descriptions and perks are shown on each package. Small details (colours, layouts, exact wording in game) may be adjusted over time without reducing what you paid for in substance.

Items have no cash value. They are a licence to use virtual content on the Server, not property. They can't be sold, traded or transferred for real money or to other accounts, except where a package itself is a gift item (such as a voucher meant to be given to another player).

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown at checkout in the Store's currency, including any taxes the Store charges.
  • Payments are taken by our store provider, CraftingStore, and its payment processors (such as PayPal). We never see or store your full card or bank details.
  • We may change prices or packages at any time. Changes never affect a purchase you have already completed.

5. Delivery

Purchases are delivered automatically, usually within a few minutes, the next time you are online on the Server (and, for Survival items, once you have joined Survival at least once). If something hasn't arrived within 24 hours, contact us on Discord (discord.gg/StrongholdMC) or by email with your username and transaction ID.

6. Your right to cancel, and refunds

Everything in the Store is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once delivery begins. This is the law in the UK (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) and the EU for digital content.

This doesn't affect your statutory rights. If an item is faulty, not as described, or never delivered and we can't fix that, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Contact us first: we will always try to sort it out.

Apart from that, purchases are not refundable, including when:

  • you are banned or muted for breaking the Server rules,
  • a season ends or a feature changes as described in section 3,
  • you no longer want the item.

7. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact us before opening a dispute: most problems are solved quickly. If you file a chargeback or payment dispute without doing so, or for a purchase that was delivered:

  • your Minecraft account is permanently banned from the Server,
  • every rank, item, booster and battle pass bought from the Store is removed.

You can appeal on Discord. If the dispute is settled in our favour or you pay again, we may lift the ban and restore your purchases.

8. Rules, bans and moderation

Purchases don't put anyone above the Server rules (/rules in game and on Discord). We can mute, kick, suspend or ban any account for breaking them, whatever it has bought, and no refund is given in that case. Staff decisions can be appealed on Discord.

9. Changes to the Server, and closing it

We work hard to keep the Server running, but we can't promise it will be available at all times or forever. We may change, rebalance, reset or remove game modes, worlds, features and items (for example a world reset for a new season).

If the Server closes permanently, purchases end with it. If that happens within 30 days of a purchase, we will refund that purchase.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, our total liability to you for anything connected with the Store is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version shown on the Store when you buy applies to that purchase.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales], and the courts of [England and Wales] have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your home country and can bring a claim there.
